.....Brian T. Irving was born in Ossining, New York, U.S.A., in 1973. He received the Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Binghamton in 1998 in electrical engineering.

.....From 1996 to 1998, he was an engineer at Celestica Inc., located in Endicott, NY, and was responsible for the design and development of PFC boost front ends for server power supplies. From 1998-present, he has been a Member of R&D Staff at the Power Electronics Laboratory, Delta Products Corp., located in Research Triangle Park, NC. His research interests include low-harmonic rectification, control techniques, current sharing, modeling, and simulation.
